STATEMENT
I work in digital photography, painting and printmaking. In all my work there is a reduction of images and subjects to their most basic form including colour, shape, values and lines. I have created 3D silkscreens on clear polycarbonate that allow for layering and deconstruction of the image. With recent paintings I am also using 3D silkscreens to overlay oil paintings, bringing the two media of print-making and painting together in a new way. My latest oils are a series of landscape paintings with thick impasto creating almost sculptural formations.
