Statement:
For some time now I have focused on organic or botanical objects, studying their forms and surfaces – their circular and natural shapes, evocative and sensual nature – singular icons at intimate scale. I focus on how these objects relate to human anatomy ,specifically female form. There are common ways many of these objects are often represented in art. My representation depicts these humble forms taken for granted in everyday life and elevates them to a higher status
