When painting, I think about symbols rather lot. Symbol is universal; it is a recognition sign simple in its form and profound in its meaning. Symbols awake anticipation, they are the presage of the unutterable and as such are inexhaustible…
Bio / Resumee / Statement:
1955 she was born in Prague.
In 1989 graduated from the Faculty of Journalism.
Since 1989 freelance production.
Since 1990 she is an active artist and produces freestyle - oil paintings,acryl and puppet designs for puppet theatres in Europe.
In 1997 she established Tineola Civic Association. Michaela is the director of puppet theatre TINEOLA and she is teaching puppetry, design and history of Czech puppet theatres..
Last 4 years she came back to the painting and drawing with new enthusiasm. Now she feels - "Everything was important, but painting is my genuine way..."
