Vita / Lebenslauf:
As an artist Georgie Tier possesses a unique vision of
human sexuality.
Her characters are often flamboyant extroverts
who can barely contain their lust for life.
Her art is often humorous, sometimes touchingly tender,
but always celebratory.
She is inspired to some extent by Picasso
and Aubrey Beardsley’s linear lyricism
As a full time artist, Georgie has exhibited widely, having
shows throughout:
UK, America, Holland Switzerland and Spain.
Georgie’s work appears in the following books:
‘The Worlds Greatest Erotic Art of Today’
volume 1 (2007) and volume 2 (2008)
Plus ‘Grafuck’ published in 2007.
Many magazines have featured her work,
while ‘Skin 2’, ‘Desire’ ‘Scarlet’ & ‘FRM’, have all interviewed her at length.
In 2005 she was chosen to be the featured artist at London’s premiere adult event ‘Erotica’ .
2006 saw her commissioned to produce all of the stage designs & illustrations for the
British tour of the transgender rock musical:
‘Hedwig & The Angry Inch’
Georgie was honoured to provide animated illustrations for ‘Feeling it’
an ‘art core’ adult film by award winning director Petra Joy.
The film was released in 2008
Georgie lives in Sussex, in the
English countryside.
She shares her home with husband Julian, and her studio with ‘Sheriff’ their Jack Russell.
