Statement:
My paintings represent an escape to simpler times and pleasures. I try to present a simple concept in an interesting way, always with a timeless look to it. I paint images, both real and imagined, that I find beautiful or emotive. I also enjoy painting in an Impressionist style. In the spirit of Impressionist scenes, I like to paint pictures of tranquility. The scene is usually one of unspoiled nature, and often includes figures who are relaxing and at peace, engaged in simple or leisurely activities.
