Über mich
roesch ursina gabriela auch als urgart bekannt. Die künstlerische Erforschung des Individuellen sowie des Gesellschaftskörpers und deren Sprache ermöglichen Aussagen über Rollenmuster und der Stellung des Individuums. Gibt es eine Globalisierung des eigenen Körpers der eigenen Sprache? Die Künstlerin verknüpft diese zu komplexen sinnanregenden Ausstellungen, Installationen, Performances und Vorträgen für die Kunst. Urgart hat einige Preise und Stipendien im In- und Ausland erhalten. Nicht zuletzt für ihre künstlerische Position, die einen mutigen, innovativen und öffentlich aussergewöhnlichen Beitrag in der Gegenwartskunst, im Dialog zwischen Kunst und Gesellschaft leistet. Urgart lebt und arbeitet in Zürich, Paris und London. Die Künstlerin sieht ihre Arbeit als poetische und theoretische (poetheoretische) Auseinandersetzung.
