Statement:
Rachel graduated from Cardiff in 2000 and is now based in Bristol, painting still life, portraits and landscapes in oil on board. In the current climate of conceptual British art she has remained image rather than concept based, her work concerned with the subject and the fluidity of the oil paint itself. Rachel’s work is generally completed in a day after a period of detailed study drawings.
