Vita / Lebenslauf:
Hello my name is Mike Gurtz. I come from Washington, D.C., born in 1974. I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1999 with a B.A. degree in Art. I have been an artist since 1994 when I was 19 years old. I started out as a painter but in recent years I have done more sculpture. I also write poetry and currently have written 3 books illustrated with my artwork.


Aktivitäten / Ausstellungen:
I have had only a few exhibitions of my work one in 2003 at the Soho Tea and Coffee in Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C. and have exhibited artworks at the MOCA DC gallery in Georgetown in Washington D.C. in 2008.
I like sports, music, movies, all of which influence and inspire my artwork.
