Mich fasziniert das Zusammenspiel von Farbe, Licht und Strukturen. Durch den Einsatz von verschiedenen Materialien entstehen mehr oder weniger starke Strukturen. Ebenso wie bei Menschen sind es gerade die durch die Strukturen sichtbaren \'Ecken und Kanten\', die das Bild (und den Menschen) für mich interessant machen.
Meine Bilder sind vielschichtig aufgebaut. Die vorhandenen Strukturen schaffen räumliche Gebilde. Farbräume entstehen. Durch intensive Betrachtung erschließen sich tiefere Schichten. Der Entstehungsprozess kann durchschaut werden. Durch teilweise Wegnahme von Schichten wird das unter der Oberfläche Liegende sichtbar. Abstrakt gewählte Titel lassen Freiraum für subjektive Assoziationen. Der Betrachter bestimmt individuell Maßstab, Leseart und Deutung.\"
