Der Niederlandische Künstler Hans Paus (1959) ist unstrittig ein passionierter moderner Maler. Obwohl Autodidact ist er Berufsmassig Kunstler. Die Landschaft seiner Heimat,sind sowie die Eindrücke während seiner Reisen wichtige Inspirationsquellen. Die mit Palettenmesser erschafften Bilder sind in einem adaptierten Stil des Impressionismus.
Der Künstler entwickelte eine wiedererkennbare Handschrift mit dem Ziel die Atmosphäre mit Licht und Farbe zu erfassen und zu intensivieren.
Hans Paus holt das Beste aus seinnen Themen und gibt eine zeitgenössische Wendung an das traditionelle Impressionismus.
Funkelnde helle Farben und gezielte Lichteffekte erfolgen in einem farbigen Spektakel,
Obwohl die Bilder in dicke Schichten in eine �nass auf nass� technik gemalt worden sind erweckt der Künstler den Anschein, dass sie flott von der Hand gehen.
Während des Schaffens kommt der Künstler vom Thema ab, aber die Abstrahierungen sind nicht so weit durchgeführt, dass sie einen Bruch verursachen zwischen dem Urbild und dem neu erschaffen Bild. Die Kunst von Hans Paus wird characterisiert vom Streben nach poetische Impressionen.
