Statement:
„Man kann aus allem etwas machen. Man muss nur die richtige Einstellung haben“.
In „schwierigen Zeiten“ liegen „richtige Einstellungen“ sprichwörtlich in der Luft.
Meiner Großmutter gelang es angeblich immer, die richtige Einstellung
zu haben.
Sie setzte sie auf wie einen Hut(1) und behauptete(2) sich.
Mir passen ihre Hüte nicht!
II. zu meiner Arbeit
1. Malerei
Meine Bilder zeigen vor allem Mädchen und junge Frauen.
„Glückssucherinnen“ täuschen in Posen und schönen Haltungen über eigene Abgründe hinweg.
2. Collage und Objekte
Ich zeichne Bildgeschichten, bevorzugt mit der Feder, oft kombiniert mit Collage. In Zitaten klingen Sprichwörter, Sprichwörtlichkeiten und Redewendungen an. In verschiedenen Serien wachsen sich die Arbeiten zu „Bildobjekten“ aus.
3. Texte
Ich webe Text- und Bildmaterial aus Zeitung und Werbung, Literatur, Brockhaus und Wikipedia in selbstverfasste Textprodukte ein.
Mich interessiert das Wort als Hülse und Sprache in ihrem Wandel.
