Bio / Resumee / Statement:
Erika Rickenbacher-Herrmann, alias Era Rika, wurde in Tilsit / Ostpreussen geboren. Ihre Jugend verbrachte sie in Düsseldorf, München und Zürich, in engem Kontakt mit dem Künstler-Milieu.
Seit 1981 lebt sie in Vevey, am Ufer des Genfersees, und widmet sich ganz der Malerei.
Neben ihrer Ausbildung in München und Zürich hat sie sich vor allem als Autodidakt entwickelt.
Ihre Liebe zur Musik und ihre inneren und äusseren Erfahrungen drücken sich in einer Bildsprache voller Symbole und Farben aus, was dem Betrachter viel Spielraum für eigene Interpretationen lässt.
