Bio / Resumee / Statement:
I am Symona Colina, my life began in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands, the 23rd of September 1954. Right now I am living and working in Italy, Roma. With every new painting I create I am trying to realize a "certain" quality from which I dare say that i sometimes almost seem to touch this, I am just trying to the best I can, using the best to be durable in time. Before creating my paintings, oil on canvas, I make several studies with pencil on paper to get the best idea of perspective for the object represented.
My work is oil painted because it is one of the most sensual materials.
