Bio / Resumee / Statement:
Bereits in meiner Jugend konnte ich mich fuer die Kunst begeistern. Es ist fuer mich einfach genial, mit welcher Perfektion manche Kuenstler ein Gesicht oder eine Landschaft malen; wie sie Gefuehle und Stimmungen in ihren Werken unterbringen und diese in einem scheinbaren Chaos bei naeherer Betrachtung doch erkennbar und nachvollziehbar sind.

Selbstverstaendlich habe auch ich meine Favoriten und solche, die ich nicht unbedingt mag. Kunst in jeglicher Form kann und wird nicht jedem gefallen, aber nur durch die Diskrepanz unter den Betrachtern ist sie Ausloeser fuer Diskussionen, die weiterbilden koennen, sowohl in der kuenstlerischen, als auch in der zwischenmenschlichen Beziehung. Je groesser die Diskussion um einen Kuenstler ist, desto groesser ist auch das Interesse an der Person und den Werken.

Nach vielen mehr oder weniger erfolglosen Malversuchen erlernte ich waehrend einer lang anhaltenden Krankheit von einer Therapeutin Praktiken, Tips und Tricks der Aquarellmalerei. Durch kopieren von Bildern bekannter Kuenstler kamen nach und nach das Auge fuer entscheidende Details und die richtige Farbgebung hinzu. Es entstanden einige Kopien und dann die ersten eigenen Aquarelle.

Als begeisterter Anhaenger von kraeftigen Farben malte ich einige Bilder in Acryl; seitdem ist diese Farbe mein Favorit. Im Gegensatz zu den Aquarellbildern, die auf Aquarellpapier gemalt sind, ist bei meinen Acryl Bildern der Traeger hauptsaechlich Leinwand.

Da mit der Zeit die Augen und das Gehirn mehr als normal geschult werden, dreidimensional zu sehen und zu denken, traute ich mich in malerischen Schaffenspausen an die Herstellung von Skulpturen heran.

Eine Leim-Holz Mischung wird in die Grundform der Figur gebracht und nach dem durchtrocknen bearbeitet. Das heisst: saegen, feilen, schleifen und bemalen. Auch hier kamen schoene Exponate zustande, von denen hier einige zu sehen sind.

Die Malerei und Herstellung von Skulpturen empfinde ich keineswegs ala Arbeit; es ist fuer mich eher Entspannung und Energiespender zugleich.

Eine angenehme Bestaetigung und positive Resonanz auf meine Kunst habe ich schon auf einigen Ausstellungen und in Zeitungsberichten erhalten.Ich glaube, jeder Mensch freut sich ueber ein gewisses, anerkennendes �Schulterklopfen� und es wird bestimmt kein Neid aufkommen, wenn man der gleiche Mensch bleibt, den die Leute kennen !!!
