Vita / Lebenslauf:
Olesia Lishaeva got her education at The Samokish Crimean Art School in Simferopol and at The Humanitarian University of Trade Unions in St. Petersburg (department of art history). Since 1998 she takes part in regional and national exhibitions. Besides that Olesya is a member of National Union of Young Ukrainian Artists.

In 2006 Olesia with her painting “On the beach” took second place at the international competition of artists named after Antonio Gualda in Granada, Spain (category: Oil Painting. Small Size).

Olesia likes to paint the etudes transmitting on her canvases the feeling of freedom and reunification with the nature. The empty canvas for her is whether “the stadium where she expresses her ambitions or the temple where she confesses her religion”. While painting she always tries to transmit not the true copy of the image, not the object but her relation to this object and its perception.
