Bio / Resumee / Statement:
Silvia Klippert wurde 1955 in einem malerischen Viertel der Altstadt von Bukarest geboren. Hier besuchte sie das Kunstgymnasium. Dort erhielt sie eine intensive Unterweisung in die bekannten künstlerischen Techniken. Nach Aufnahme des Studiums an der Kunstakademie in Bukarest kam sie 1978 nach Deutschland.
In Essen studierte sie an der Folkwangschule und arbeitete später in Düsseldorf als erfolgreiche Werbeillustratorin, zuletzt freiberuflich. Sie wirkte bei vielen bekannten Werbekampagnen mit. Unter anderem gewann sie 1985 den Illustratoren-Preis des Penthouse-Verlages.
