Venice great canal and its imprescriptible part, Venetian gondolas scene. Venetian pearls, i.e. Pallazzo Ducale (Doge’s Palace) and Basilica Cattedrale di San Marco (St.Mark’s Basilica) are in the background. When watercoloring both homogeneous tone fillings technique and washing-off were used. To create the central object a combination of watercolor techniques, i.e. monochrome underpainting, gradient filling, washing and outlines flattening were applied.
